Assassination Plot? Accurate Prophecy? UK Religious Freedom Over? Vance A Deplorable?
Here are a few things you need to know from yesterday.
1 - The Trump shooting increasingly seems nefarious, not just incompetent
The more details come out about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the harder it gets to believe that mere incompetence allowed Thomas Crooks to get so close to ending the former President’s life. There’s too much to get into in this section, but some of the key details include the fact that:
- The shooter’s parents called the police hours before the shooting say that he was missing and that something was wrong
- 3 hours before the shooting, the shooter was caught with a rangefinder in the area
- An hour before the shooting, a rally goer caught Crooks on video wandering suspiciously around the building where he would later position himself, but he was not detained or questioned.
- Forty minutes before the shooting, Crooks was photographed by security crawling on the ground, and they did not detain him
- Several minutes before the shooting, multiple attendees spotted Crooks and frantically pointed him out to law enforcement, who did nothing to either stop him or warn Trump and the rally attendees
- Police were stationed inside the building from which he took the shot
- Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle said that the reason there were no agents stationed on the roof - the most obvious one in the whole area from which someone could take a shot on the President’s life - was that the roof was sloped and would have been a health and safety hazard. Images show that the roof has a very mild slope, much milder than the slope of the roof of the White House which has Secret Service agents stationed on it 24/7.
- Major short positions were taken out against Donald Trump’s social media platform Truth Social in the days leading up to the shooting, meaning that multiple people or organizations were predicting that by Monday the stock would plummet.
- Apparently the above was incorrectly reported and the result of a clerical error, according to the company in question. https://www.news.com.au/finance/money/investing/investment-firm-says-massive-short-of-truth-social-stock-before-trump-shooting-was-filed-in-error/news-story/8f9886b3ecf6f1c53d7ad3b737387d2ahttps://www.news.com.au/finance/money/investing/investment-firm-says-massive-short-of-truth-social-stock-before-trump-shooting-was-filed-in-error/news-story/8f9886b3ecf6f1c53d7ad3b737387d2a.
- No one has been fired, or even resigned.
Ultimately, we’ll almost certainly never know exactly what happened, but the crazed lone-wolf narrative is extremely hard to swallow.
That being said, here’s a composite before and after image, showing that the shooter took a perfect headshot and was only foiled by Trump’s last second head movement. Wow.
REPORT: New close-up footage shows that Thomas Crooks' shot was perfectly centered in the middle of Trump's head.

In video footage filmed by @C3PMeme, Trump could be seen doing a similar 'head tilt' as he did where he quite literally dodged a bullet.

2 - The ‘prophetic word’ about it probably wasn’t an accurate prophecy
One of the things flying around in the aftermath of the attempted assassination was a four-month old video of Brandon Briggs prophesying that there would be such an attempt on Trump’s life, and that the bullet would fly past his ear, after which he would fall to his knees and come to faith. It was certainly interesting viewing. However, both Protestia (coming from a cessationist angle) and Remnant Radio (coming from a continuationist angle) raised big concerns, including the fact that Briggs has a history of significant, specific failed prophecies, and in the same video says that “the upcoming passover will accelerate politics, war, etc, and there will be record-breaking temperatures, including the largest tornadoes we have ever seen in history, 150MPH microburst winds, lasting into the Fall season.”
Sorry everyone, it was probably just a case of throwing lots of stuff at the wall, and occasionally something sticks.
There is a video going around of a man 'prophesying in great detail' about the assasination attempt on Trump's life, but this is not something we should marvel at. Instead, this whole video is nonsense.

3 - UK ‘Conversion Therapy’ ban functionally ends religious freedom there
In the UK it’s not uncommon for Christians to lean politically to the left, and recently the British populace elected a left-wing Labour government. How’s that working out so far?
Well, the government have now proposed a Draft Bill in the King’s Speech which would prevent action to 'change, ''cure' or suppress' someone's ‘sexuality’ or ‘gender identity’. The wording of the bill makes it likely that it will “interfere with the right to private family life and likely to interfere with religious freedom” according to Ciaran Kelly, Deputy Director for the Christian Institute. He went on to say, “A broad ban is going to fit the ordinary work of churches, and it's going to potentially criminalise parents who steer their children away from puberty blockers.”
So yeah, British Christians need to wake up fairly promptly, and anyone who voted for this wicked party should probably repent for doing so.

4 - Vance’s RNC speech makes him a ‘Deplorable’
Ohio Senator and Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance gave his first speech since becoming Trump’s pick for the position at the RNC last night, and it was a clear appeal to Rust Belt working classes. In it he said, “It’s about the auto worker in Michigan, wondering why out of touch politicians are destroying your jobs. It’s about the factory worker in Wisconsin, who makes things with their hands and is proud of American craftsmanship. It’s about the energy worker in Pennsylvania and Ohio, who doesn’t understand why Joe Biden is willing to buy energy from tinpot dictators but not hard-working Americans right here at home.” Later he added, “We're done, ladies and gentlemen, catering to Wall Street. We'll commit to the working man. We’re done importing foreign labor. We're going to fight for American citizens and their good jobs and their good wages.”
He also repeatedly hit on the themes of family, and that America is not just an idea, but a people and a place.
This VP pick is an attempt by Trump to reach the ones Hilary Clinton described as ‘deplorables’, and certainly will have significant appeal among many impoverished swing-state voters.

Currently, the tightest races are in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The Rust Belt states will decide the 2024 election.
