'The Cringiest Political Ad Ever Made' - Plus Hurricane Milton, Biden Hates Kamala & Mor
1. Hurricane Milton Hits Florida
Hurricane Milton wreaked havoc across Florida this weak, though thankfully did not seem to leave as much damage as many feared it would.
Winds strengthened to make Milton a Category 5 before landfall, with President Biden calling it, ‘the storm of the century’. Thankfully by the time it hit Florida’s west coast it had decreased to a Category 3.
Regardless, over 2.5 million homes and businesses are currently without power, the storm's wrath has claimed at least 17 lives, with the death toll expected to rise as rescue operations continue, and early assessments suggest damages could exceed $100 billion, making Milton one of the costliest hurricanes in U.S. history.
In a feelgood story, a man who has since received the nickname ‘Lt. Dan’ chose to weather the hurricane in his small boat, and emerged unscathed.

2. Biden Sides With DeSantis, Irks Harris Campaign
Kamala Harris endeavoured to get involved in hurricane efforts but was rebuffed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
DeSantis said Harris was "delusional" for calling him selfish after not taking the Vice President’s call, describing himself as "laser focused on leveraging all resources available," including speaking with President Biden and FEMA as well as working with state and local agencies, per Axios.
"She has no role in this. In fact, she's been vice president for three and a half years. I've dealt with a number of storms under this administration. She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts," he said.
"I've had storms under both President Trump and President Biden, and I've worked well with both of them. She's the first one who's trying to politicize the storm, and she's doing that just because of her campaign," DeSantis continued. "I don't have time for political games."
President Biden, in what seems to be another minor act of slight at the woman who replaced him as the Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate, seemed to take DeSantis’ side, saying, “"The governor of Florida has been cooperative. He said he’s gotten all that he needs. I talked to him again yesterday, and I said – no – you're doing a great job, it's all being done well and we thank you for it. There was a rough start in some places, but every governor, every governor – from Florida to North Carolina – has been fully cooperative and supportive."
Holy crap, Joe Biden just said Ron DeSantis has his direct number, is doing a great job on hurricane response, directly undercutting Kamala. Biden hates her. Not hiding it now: pic.twitter.com/Bm95Nh75Iq

3. ‘Men For Harris’ Commercial The ‘Cringiest Ever Made’
A recent commercial aiming to increase the male vote for Kamala Harris has been roundly mocked as among the cringiest in recent memory.
In the video, men declare their interest in various 'manly clichés' like bears, bourbon, steak, fixing cars, and lifting weights. And continues to say that they aren’t ‘scared of women’, and only 'man enough' men will endorse a woman for president.
'You think I'm afraid to rebuild a carburetor? I eat carburetors for breakfast,' says one extremely overweight man in a cowboy hat, with the irony clearly lost on the ad’s creators.
“A woman wants to be President?” asks one man. “Well I hope she has the guts to look me right in the eye and accept my full-throated endorsement,” continues another, seated so awkwardly on the back of a pickup that he resembles a Victorian upper-class woman riding sideways on a horse.
Upon first watching, it is genuinely hard to tell whether or not the commerical is satirical.
Theologican Andrew Walker responded to criticism for mocking the ad by saying, “I'm gathering people were offended by what I said here. Allow me to double down. For one, this is an actor in an inane political ad that mocks God's laws. Two, I'm not that concerned about mocking a party's efforts at male outreach when that same party is wedded to an ideology that makes it impossible to know what a man or woman actually is. Their policies harm and deserve refutation and mockery.”

4. 60 Mins Runs Cover For Harris
60 Minutes was exposed engaging not merely in normal editing of a Kamala Harris answer, but in completely changing the answer she gave to a question. When asked if Netanyahu was listening to America’s pressure regarding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Harris originally replied, “ Well Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.”
Poetry.
Somehow 60 Minutes found a way to ‘edit’ that to say, “We’re not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.”
Albeit the latter answer says nothing at all more concisely than the former, but it can hardly be considered a faithful representation of her words.
Republicans have now demanded the full transcript be released so that the extent of such editing can be fully revealed.
Just watch below and see for yourself.
The internal polling numbers for Kamala Harris are so depressing that the Dems forced her to do some interviews. Her answers on 60 Minutes were so bad that CBS had to edit them to hide her ineptitude. CBS has been caught in a fraud against American voters. pic.twitter.com/cgJDE9pjfq
