1. Steve Lawson Removed from Ministry Over ‘Inappropriate Relationship’

Steven J. Lawson, pastor at Trinity Bible Church of Dallas, and known for his wider teaching ministry with organizations including The Master’s Seminary and the G3 Conferences, was indefinitely removed from his pastoral role due to an "inappropriate relationship" with a woman, not further identified by the church.

Later reports revealed that the relationship took place over the past five years, and that Lawson did not come forward willingly but only after the twenty-year-old woman’s father said he would speak to the church leadership about it. It is also reported that the relationship did not cross the boundary into physical adultery, which is perhaps why the eldership of Trinity used the vague language of ‘inappropriate relationship’ rather than ‘adultery’ to describe the dynamic.

Lawson’s final sermon, preached on the Sunday before he confessed to his eldership, contained a moment in which he declared, "And you should not judge a man by his one weak moment...you need to look at his whole ministry, and don't judge him on one hiccup that happens.” Whilst this was given prior to his forced conversion, the context makes it feel like this may have been his attempt at something of a preemptive defense of his ministry.

Lawson has not commented in public since the revelation.

2 - Mass Numbers Of Ineligible Voters Removed From Electoral Rolls

Several states have actively pursued efforts to clean up their voter rolls by removing ineligible names, amounting to well over a million registrations across multiple states over the past few weeks. This includes:

  • Oklahoma, where Governor J. Kevin Stitt oversaw the removal of 450,000 ineligible voters, encompassing categories like deceased individuals, duplicate registrations, those who have moved, and felons. This includes approximately 97,000 deceased voters, 15,000 duplicate registrations, and others who no longer qualify to vote.
  • Texas removed over one million names from its voter rolls in a comprehensive effort. This included about 6,500 noncitizens, alongside others like felons and deceased individuals. Governor Greg Abbott highlighted this initiative as part of broader election integrity efforts.
  • North Carolina reported the removal of over 747,000 ineligible registration records from January 2023 through August 2024. This was part of ongoing list maintenance processes aimed at ensuring the accuracy of voter rolls.
  • Alabama identified 3,251 individuals registered to vote who were issued noncitizen identification numbers. These cases are being addressed to either remove them or confirm their eligibility if they've become naturalized citizens.
  • Virginia saw Governor Glenn Youngkin's administration remove 6,303 noncitizens from the rolls over the past 18 months, although it's unclear how many of these individuals actually voted.

Meanwhile the US is giving out citizenship to migrants at an all time high level.

3 - Soros Buys Up Hundreds Of Radio Stations Prior To Election

George Soros, through his investment fund Soros Fund Management, has acquired a significant stake in Audacy, Inc., making it one of the largest shareholders. This move has positioned Soros with considerable influence over Audacy, which owns 227 radio stations across the United States, marking him as a major player in the U.S. radio broadcasting landscape.

The radio stations under Audacy's belt are located in 45 media markets, covering major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and smaller but significant markets like Memphis and Wichita. This distribution ensures coverage across a significant portion of the American populace, reaching over 165 million Americans.

Soros is widely recognized for his political activism, often supporting left-leaning candidates and causes globally.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has faced scrutiny for expediting the approval process for this acquisition, bypassing standard procedures.

The FCC’s Brendan Carr claimed, “We have a very clear process... to review the foreign ownership at issue here... the FCC Commission, for the very first time ever, has SKIPPED that process for the benefit of this Soros-backed group.”

This has led to investigations by the House Oversight Committee, questioning if the FCC's decision could be seen as an attempt to favor Soros, potentially impacting the media landscape's neutrality before the election.

4 - Rick Warren Decries Church Politicization

Rick Warren recently condemned the church for exchanging, “spiritual power for political influence,” before his address at the Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization on Saturday, according to The Christian Post.

Warren said that while Christians excel at fellowship and networking, they struggle with collaboration and unity. Reflecting on the decline of "miracles, signs, and wonders" after "Christianity became an acceptable political power" in the Roman Empire, Warren suggested that "all of the signs and wonders of the first 300 years were because we had no political clout."

"I wish I could say this to the people in my country, in America, because they've switched spiritual power for political influence," he lamented, urging believers not to "hitch their wagon" to any politician, as political power is transient.

Warren, meanwhile, the the same pastor who pitched the idea to the WEF that governments should exploit the local pastor’s trust with his congregation to advance the State’s goals in a pandemic.

5 - Hezbollah Leader, Hassan Nasrallah, Killed In Airstrike

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, was reported to have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on the group's headquarters in the Dahieh suburb of Beirut on September 27, 2024. This strike was part of ongoing conflicts between Israel and Hezbollah, intensified by broader regional tensions.

Israel's military announced that they targeted Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike using significant force, including American-made 5,000-pound bunker buster bombs, aiming at Hezbollah's underground headquarters. The attack resulted in at least six fatalities and 91 injuries, though the final casualty count was expected to rise due to ongoing rescue operations. The strike demolished several civilian apartment buildings in the area, indicating significant collateral damage.

Nasrallah's death, if confirmed, would represent a major blow to Hezbollah, already facing setbacks earlier in September. His leadership was crucial for Hezbollah's operations, strategic planning, and influence in Lebanon and beyond, acting as a significant figure in the Iran-led "Axis of Resistance."
