Here are a few things you need to know from this week:

1 - RKF and Tulsi Back Trump

Independent Presidential hopeful  RFK Jr. suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump this week.

During his endorsement speech, Kennedy criticized the Democratic Party, saying, "Democrats stood against authoritarianism, against censorship, against war, against the surveillance state, against the military-industrial complex, against Wall Street, against Big Pharma, against the corruption of our elections, against the erosion of our civil liberties. That’s the party I grew up in. That’s not the party of today."

“In history, The Guys doing the Censoring are always the bad Guys," Kennedy added, saying that he and Trump would, “"fight together to defeat the corrupt establishment."

The former Democrat said he would remove his name from the ballot in swing states so as not to spoil the vote, but leave it on as an independant candidate in other states so people could voice their disapprval of the system as-is.

Another former  Democratic congresswoman and presidential candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, also announced her support for Trump, emphasizing her disillusionment with the Democratic Party's direction on issues like foreign policy and domestic freedoms.

"The only way that we save our democracy and reverse the damage that’s already been done, is when every single one of us as Americans -- Democrats, Republicans, independents, libertarians -- we take it upon ourselves to choose freedom... vote for Donald Trump." Gabbard said.

If you love our country as I do, if you cherish peace and freedom as we do, I invite you to join me in doing all that we can to save our country and elect President Donald J. Trump and send him back to the White House."

Such moves by those who have themselves been Democrats until very recently show just how radical the current party has become.

2 - Trump Gets It Wrong, Then Gets It Right, On Abortion

Donald Trump had a strange week on the issue of abortion, but perhaps one which showed a willingness to be persuaded by pro-life voices.

Trump initially criticized Florida's six-week abortion ban, suggesting it was too restrictive by stating that six weeks was not enough time for women to decide on an abortion. This comment was interpreted by some as an indication that he might support a ballot measure in Florida, Amendment 4, which would allow abortions up to fetal viability, around 24 weeks.

Following backlash from conservative and anti-abortion groups, Trump clarified (or maybe changed) his position. He announced he would vote against Amendment 4, despite his earlier comments. This reversal was seen as an attempt to align more closely with the conservative base, which has traditionally supported stricter abortion laws.

Despite his inconsistency on this issue, there remains no comparison between the two parties on the issue, with Trump willing to leave it to the states, and the Democrats promising to reinstate Ros vs Wade and guarantee abortion in all 50 states.

3 - Kamala’s Fluffs Softball Interview

Kamala Harris finally her first interview since becoming the Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate, and despite it being set up for an easy win, still managed to demonstrate her unfitness for any job in politics.

Strangely Harris was not permitted by the party to take the interview on her own, instead having VP pick Tim Walz chaperoning her for the duration. The interview was also pre-recorded and edited, with CNN having 41 minutes of footage yet  only releasing 18 minutes.. And of course, it was conducted by Dana Bash of CNN, someone with whom Harris has a long-standing good relationship.

Harris also showed herself incapable of speaking in any clear manner, saying things like, “The climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter, to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time. We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act.” If you can decipher what that means, you are perhaps the only one.

Multiple reports showed that she may have dropped as much as five points in national polling after the interview.

4 - Free Speech Under Attack: Telegram CEO Arrested in France, X Banned In Brazil

Pavel Durov, the CEO of Telegram, was arrested in France this week, charged with complicity in managing an online platform that allegedly enabled illicit activities. Additional charges encompass complicity in crimes like drug trafficking, fraud, and the spread of child sexual abuse material.

Telegram's model, which prioritizes user privacy over content moderation, has been both a haven for those valuing privacy and free expression, but also been used by some for organizing criminal activity outside of the watchful eye of Big Tech and intelligence agencies.

Following his arrest, Durov was released on bail set at about $5.5 million but is barred from leaving France. He must also report to a police station twice a week, indicating ongoing legal scrutiny and restrictions on his movements.

Furthermore, X (formerly Twitter) has been banned in Brazil over ‘disinformation’, with the government clamping down on free speech as never before. Furthermore the far-left Lula regime will fine anyone using a VPN to access this site a whopping $8900 per day, more than five-times the average monthly salary in the country.

5 - Ohio State Salvations

A revival event last weekend at Ohio State University campus saw dozens of students baptized after a number of Ohio State Buckeyes players gave testimonies, according to the Christian Post.

Emeka Egbuka (receiver), TreVeyon Henderson, (running back ) J.T. Tuimoloau (defensive end ), and former wide receiver Kamryn Babb all shared about their faith.

Between 1000-2000 people attended the event, and sixty people were spontaneously baptized, with the players among those helping administer the baptisms.

“I think the human condition wants hope. We throw around the words, hope, love — all these different words — and I think those things that we’re looking for, that we’re searching for can only be found in Jesus,” Babb said.

“It was an honor to see my Lord and my Savior move the way that he did, and it was only because of him. It was all to bring him glory. It wasn’t about a football team. It wasn’t about anything else besides Jesus Christ and this country, America.”
